Introduction to EU REACH certification
REACH is the abbreviation of the EU Regulation, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals). Regulation No. (EC) No. 1907/2006. This regulation is a chemical regulatory system established by the EU and implemented from 1 June 2007.
The REACH Directive requires that chemicals imported and produced in Europe must be integrated through a comprehensive set of procedures such as registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction to better and easier identification of the components of the chemicals to achieve the purpose of ensuring environmental and human safety. This directive mainly includes several major items such as registration, evaluation, authorization, and restrictions.

Introduction to SVHC Test
SVHC: Substance of Very High Concern, High concern for substances. It is a large category of harmful substances under the REACH regulations. SVHC includes a series of high-risk substances such as carcinogenic, teratogenic, reproductive toxicity, and bioaccumulative properties.
The purpose of item SVHC testing is to determine whether the single SVHC mass/item quality in the item exceeds 0.1%, and then pass the SVHC information in the item to the recipient/consumer. step:
1) List the BOM of the item (Bill of Materials) 2) Be clear about the SVHC content of each material 3) Cumulative SVHC in different materials 4) SVHC quality/item quality 5) Give an evaluation conclusion (it is best to attach an evaluation report)

On December 20, 2017, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) released information that the Commission of Member States of the EU (MSC) agreed to add seven new substances to the REACH's high-concern substance list, while supporting Germany's proposed addition of attributes that may cause environmental harm to the existing SHVC substance bisphenol A (BPA). These substances will be updated to the SVHC substance list in mid-January 2018, and legal obligations will also take effect after the official update of the list. By then, the SVHC substance list will be expanded from 174 items to 181 items now.
REACH regulations require that all economic entities that manufacture, use and put substances, mixtures and items on the market must comply with REACH Annex XVII.
