Introduction to VCCI certification in Japan
VCCI is Japan's electromagnetic compatibility certification mark and is managed by the Japan Electromagnetic Interference Control Council for Interference by Information Technology Equipment. VCCI certification is non-mandatory, but information technology products sold in Japan are generally required to undergo VCCI certification. Manufacturers should first apply to become a member of VCCI before they can use the VCCI logo. In order to obtain VCCI accreditation, the provided EMI test report must be issued by a VCCI registered and accredited testing agency. There are currently no standards for immunity in Japan.

VCCI certification process
1. The manufacturer or agent submits a preliminary or written application to the certification company. 2. The applicant fills out the application form and sends the application form, product instruction manual and technical documents to the certified company (if necessary, it is also required to provide a prototype for the application company). 3. The certification company formulates a plan and quotes. 4. The applicant confirms the quotation, signs the quotation form back, and sends the samples and relevant technical documents to the certified company. 5. The applicant provides technical documents. 6. The certification company issues a charging notice to the applicant, and the applicant prepays the certification fee according to the charging notice. 7. The certification company reviews the technical documents and organizes relevant certification activities. 8. If the technical documents are incomplete or the specified language is not used, the certification company will notify the applicant of improvement. 9. If the test fails, the certification company will promptly notify the applicant and decide whether to suspend the project based on the situation, allowing the applicant to improve the product. The applicant should make changes to the technical information in the original application to reflect the actual situation after the change. 10. For the rectification fees involved in Articles 9 and 10 of this page, the certification company will issue a supplementary fee notice to the applicant. 11. The applicant shall pay the rectification fee according to the supplementary fee notice. 12. The certification company provides the applicant with test reports or technical documents, as well as VCCI compliance certificates.
VCCI certification instructions
Manufacturers must become members of VCCI before they can use the VCCI tag. Global manufacturers can become members of the organization by paying membership fees and annual membership fees. That is, after receiving the product test report, customers must go to VCCI to pay the membership fee and membership fee before using the VCCI tag. This is the so-called registration procedures in Japan. Products passing the VCCI standard will allow the correct VCCI label to be attached to the product. The A-grade label of the product must indicate that the product complies with the RF radiation clause, and the B-grade product only needs to display the basic VCCI symbol. Things to note: that is, this certification is only for IT computer peripheral devices, not any electronic and electrical products are suitable, and other products are suitable.
