  Introduction to Taiwan NCC certification

       NCC is the abbreviation of the National Communications Commission, which mainly controls communication and information equipment circulating and using in the Taiwan market:          1. LPE: Low Power Equipment is low-power equipment (such as Bluetooth, WIFI equipment);  2. TTE: Telecommunications Terminal Equipment is communication terminal equipment (such as mobile phones, tablets). 
       
       

NCC certified product range

       1. Low-power RF motors with operating frequency between 9kHz and 300GHz, such as: wireless network (WLAN) products (including IEEE 802.11a/b/g), UNII, Bluetooth products, RFID, ZigBee, wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, wireless headphone microphone, radio intercom, radio remote control toys, various radio remote controls, various wireless anti-theft devices, etc.      2. Public exchange telephone network equipment (PSTN) products, such as wired telephones (including VOIP network telephones), automatic alarm equipment, telephone answering machines, fax machines, remote control devices, wired telephone wireless master and secondary machines, button telephone systems, data equipment (including ADSL equipment), incoming phone display terminal equipment, 2.4GHz radio frequency telecommunications terminal equipment, etc.      3. NCC certification mark ratio description

       1. It should be labeled or printed on the body of the equipment in an appropriate proportion. There is no maximum/minimum size requirement, and the principle is clarity.     

       2. This NCC mark, together with the inspection and passing number, should be attached to the product according to regulations. Its frequency and color are single and must be clear and easy to identify.     

Example of production of qualified labels

       In order to meet the needs of Taiwan's trade convenience, the following specifications for the inspection and qualification labels for telecommunications controlled radio frequency equipment and telecommunications terminal equipment are revised from January 1, 2019. The following specifications are as follows: Low-power RF motors and radio telecommunications terminal equipment that have obtained the inspection and qualification number before December 31, 2019. If the inspection and qualification number is required to convert the inspection and qualification number into the 1995 new encoding method (customs clearance code).
 

NCC certification process

       1. The entrusted party provides product information to the institution to evaluate the quotation;       2. The entrusted party confirms the return quotation, fills out the application form, provides samples and information, arranges funds (first paragraph), and the institution opens the case; 3. Arrange product predictions and reviews the information;       4. If there are problems with the test and information, arranges rectification and retest until it is passed;     5. After the test and information are passed, the issuing agency conducts sighting tests;      6. After the sighting test is completed, the issuing agency issues a test report and issues a certificate;      7. The entrusted party pays the money (last payment), obtains the certificate report, and closes the case.

NCC certification application cycle

       The NCC certification application period is 3-4 weeks, and the cost can only be determined based on product information.  

NCC factory inspection and certificate validity period

       NCC certification has no factory inspection, and the certificate has no validity period. As long as the product has no changes and the test standards have not been updated, the certificate will always be valid.
