Battery MSDS Report

Basic introduction

MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) is a chemical safety technical manual, which can also be translated into a chemical safety manual or a chemical safety data manual. It is a document used by chemical manufacturers and importers to clarify the physical and chemical characteristics of chemicals (such as pH, flash point, flammability, reactive activity, etc.) and the possible harm to the health of users (such as carcinogenic, teratogenic, etc.). In European countries, the Material Safety Technology/Data Sheet MSDS is also known as the Safety Technology/Data Sheet. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) uses the SDS term, while the United States, Canada, Australia and many countries in Asia use the MSDS term. MSDS is a comprehensive legal document related to chemical characteristics provided to customers by chemical manufacturers or sales companies as required by law. It provides sixteen items including physical and chemical parameters, combustion and explosion performance, hazards to health, safe use and storage, leakage disposal, first aid measures, and relevant laws and regulations. MSDS can be written by the manufacturer in accordance with relevant rules. However, in order to ensure the accuracy and standardization of the report, you can apply to a professional institution for preparation.

SDS Difference

The EU and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) both use the SDS term. However, in the United States, Canada, Australia and many countries in Asia, SDS (Safety Data Sheet) can also be used as MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet). The role of the two technical documents is basically the same. my country is called CSDS in the standard GBT16483-2000 before 2008. In the standard GBT16483-2008 revised in 2008, the content and order of project of the International Organization for Standardization was unified with the International Organization for Standardization, and the abbreviation is SDS. The role of the two abbreviations SDS and MSDS plays completely consistent in the supply chain, with only some slight differences in content.

File content

Whether it is domestic or international trade, sellers must provide product explanation laws.

Law documents. Since the legal documents on chemical management and trade in different countries and even states in the United States vary, some of them change every month, if the MSDS provided is incorrect or the information is incomplete, they will face legal liability. Therefore, the quality of MSDS writing is an important indicator to measure a company's strength, image and management level.

The MSDS report information is as follows: There is a number of items that must be completed per MSDS. These items are divided into sections to solve specific problems as follows: 1 - Materials and Enterprise Identification Chemical Names - The usual IUPAC or CAS names are given. It is also possible to give other common names and product names, CAS registration numbers - required by OSHA, but most countries' laws stipulate that the report date - required for Japanese literature or the latest update date. 2 - Composition of a mixture of material composition and composition information - including all carcinogens of more than 1% of all harmful substances and more than 0.1%. OSHA PEL - Both the time-weighted average limit is 8 hours per day or the maximum concentration of contact limits on the OSHA list. in ppm or mg/m³. ACGIH TLV - Maximum exposure limit, recommended by the U.S. Government Industrial Health Conference 3 - Impact of hazard markings on health - Detrimental impact of target organs or systems for excessive exposure to carcinogenicity of materials and test results. 4 - First aid exposure - Treatment of inhalation, ingestion, eye contact, skin contact 5 - Fire protection measures. Fire and explosion data - usually include: flash point - temperature at which chemical steam can be ignited automatically ignition temperature - temperature at which chemicals in the air are spontaneously ignited flammability limits - concentrations in the air above and below it can not burn recommended fire extinguishing materials for unusual fire and explosion hazards, providing basic directives for resolving fire situations that may include NFPA diamond markings. 6 - Procedures for the cleaning of small and large leaks of small and large leaks Specific provisions for chemical leakage around the Convention on Endangered Species 7 - Operation and storage Provides safe storage of relevant materials, providing safe use of relevant materials 8 - Exposure control/personal protection
