Introduction to Indian WPC certification
The Indian Wireless Planning and Coordination Bureau issues a certificate of approval for radio equipment imported and sold to the Indian market on behalf of the Indian Communications Agency. Wireless Planning & Coordination Wing is required for export of wireless products to India .
Indian WPC certification application requirements
1. Predict the project in mainland China to avoid excessive retesting and rectification costs in India (fees are sent separately);
2. Find an Indian authorities' consulting service agency, or a customer in India sends the test;
3. Appoint a local representative as the support of the Indian company's products;
4. Submit the information to the Indian authorities, fill in the certification service application form and other relevant information;
5. Choose a mobile phone testing laboratory, one battery testing laboratory, and one charger testing laboratory. (It must be a local Indian laboratory authorized by the State Telecommunications Agency of India)
6. Testing is completed. The laboratory submits the test report to the State Telecommunications Agency of India, and the State Telecommunications Agency of India will issue a certificate of qualification;
7. Prepare barcode labels: prepare product barcode labels according to the regulations of the Telecommunications Agency, and can be operated online online;
8. Prepare photos of the inside and outside of the prototype and prepare photos with labels;
9. Provide a translated user manual (the manual must be specified in the battery and charger model model);
10. Provide a translated technical manual.
Application method for WPC certification in India
